This species is still quite rare in public greenery and is one of the small-leaved species. In younger condition, the species has softly hairy branches. A graceful growth habit with slightly overhanging branches. The bark is gray-colored and the twigs dark gray-brown, these are first densely hairy but later bare. Maximum height in adult stage about 16 meters. A beautiful small tree as a solitary or in groups. Maintenance-friendly strain that thrives on any location / type of ground and is hardy. Origin: China – Asia.
