𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱🌳 | A somewhat lesser-known species in our range, but no less beautiful. Carpinus monbeigiana, also known as 'steenbeuk' in Dutch. This species is still quite rare in public green spaces and is one of the small-leaved species. In its younger state, the species has soft hairy branches. A graceful growth habit with slightly overhanging branches. The bark is grey-coloured and the twigs dark grey-brown, these are initially densely hairy but later bare. Maximum height at maturity is about 16 metres. A lovely small tree as a solitary or in groups. Low-maintenance species that thrives in any location/type of soil and is hardy. Origin: China - Asia.

Just a few more perennials and grasses on the outdoor fields and we are ready for this season. We hope to be able to serve you again this autumn with beautiful plants and trees. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀🌳 | Our saplings are greening up beautifully in the sun after all the rain. Hopefully, the growth can now progress substantially. These trees will be grown up to our deliverable sizes and are expected to be available in 2-3 years. Wonderful right!?
