Investment in sustainable energy

At Huverba we are quickly making it more sustainable. We have invested heavily in our company in order to be self-sufficient in the long term. In 2022, for example, we equipped the roofs of our production vents with solar panels to reduce our power consumption of the grid. This concerns no less than 300 panels that can generate an annual power of 100.000 kW. In addition, our internal logistics (such as forklift trucks, aerial work platforms and pruning tools) will operate fully electrically in the long term.

We can also make it more sustainable on the plots themselves. Think of the pumps for the drip irrigation. In the past there were still environmentally polluting diesel pumps. Now there are silent electric pumps with their own energy supply by means of solar panels.
